The Hotel is a hive of activity....there are carpet layers, interior designers, linen suppliers and staff running about the place making sure all will be sparkling and ready for the guests to start arriving. Our first paying guests will be here on 11th February....i say paying guests but to be honest with an opening offer of just £89 for any room on a week day its a bargain!
By monday we will be pretty much ready in terms of interiors so it will all be about training of the staff - we've already had a week of training on the software systems, including the very cool room entry system that unlocks by just waving the key card in front of the door.
Hector the GM and Ann the hotel supervisor have been working 16hr days to ensure everything runs smoothly - its looking great and they have built a great team. You really get the feeling when you are around them that everything is in control and nothing is too much trouble.
Its cocktail training so i better go and help in the tasting!
